flyspa : the Swiss pioneer in home massages gets a makeover and targets the B2B market
flyspa, Switzerland’s first app offering home massages, celebrates its 6th anniversary with a series of major developments. Founded in 2017, flyspa quickly won the hearts of French-speaking Swiss by offering personalized massages in the comfort of their homes. With constant growth, 2024 marks a decisive turning point for the company, with announcements in the wellness and B2B sectors.

Evolution of flyspa
Since its launch in 2017, flyspa has come an impressive way, becoming the benchmark for home massages, with over 2,000 users in French-speaking Switzerland. Notable achievements over these 6 years include a significant increase in market share, growing brand awareness, and increasing customer trust.
Although the democratization of home massage remains a challenge, flyspa has successfully made progress. Furthermore, the company has recently intensified its efforts in the B2B market by collaborating with hotels and businesses to offer wellness services to their clients and employees.
Fundraising and rebranding in 2023
flyspa completed a significant strategic fundraising round in 2023. This capital infusion allowed the company to consolidate its market position and prepare for new challenges. Among the most notable projects are the ongoing development of B2B partnerships, the technical evolution of the website, and the new brand identity.
New for 2024
flyspai s preparing to expand its market footprint by introducing innovative services. The improved algorithm on the new website, launched at the end of this year, will make the user experience even more fluid and convenient, facilitating home massage bookings with increased visibility of availability.
But the big news lies in flyspa‘s decision to seriously tackle the B2B market. By offering 15-minute turbo-massage sessions on specialized chairs,
flyspa meets the growing demand from companies that recognize the importance of their employees’ well-being. This approach would reduce the risks of burnout, promote staff retention, and improve company dynamics, thereby creating significant long-term benefits.
In parallel, flyspa is forming partnerships with hotels that do not have a spa on-site or struggle to find competent therapists. By outsourcing massages to a trusted provider like flyspa, they benefit from a turnkey solution to offer an additional, high-quality service to their guests. This win-win collaboration allows hotels to meet the growing demand for wellness services, without the logistical and financial hassles that this can entail.
flyspa‘s strengths compared to the competition
flyspa is the undisputed pioneer in the Swiss market with its unique concept of booking home massages via a mobile application. Maximum simplified accessibility allows clients to get a massage within the hour, at the earliest !
With 6 years of experience, the company has accumulated valuable expertise. Having recently adjusted its prices to account for inflation and ensure fair compensation for its therapists, the company nevertheless strives to maintain competitive prices (from CHF 140, including therapist travel and equipment such as massage table and oil) to ensure access to care for the largest possible number of clients.
The company also stands out by highlighting its therapists, offering clients the unique opportunity to choose their professional based on criteria such as years of experience, training, and customer reviews. flyspa emphasizes excellence in recruiting its masseurs, requiring high-level training and recognized expertise.
Current and Future Projects
Looking ahead, flyspa has big plans. The company aims to strengthen its B2C service in the cities of the Lake Geneva region where it already operates, while significantly developing its B2B service to meet the growing demand from businesses and hotels. Expansion to other major Swiss cities is also on the agenda, with the ambition of becoming the leader in the Swiss market.
flyspa also plans to expand its range of services to include other types of treatments, potentially beyond national borders.
Finally, under the direction of its founder, David Harris, flyspa strives to minimize its environmental impact by reducing the operational areas of its therapists. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to environmental protection and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
